Welcome!
Hello! Thought I’d kick things off here with a little update on what’s going on and how things are going.
If you’ve just stumbled across this site, well… we’re pregnant! I know, it’s really Mystique who is pregnant, but I like joining in on the fun since we’re a family. And let me stress family because Mystique, of course, over-achieved and managed to create a set of twins. Yep… we’re jumping into full-blown family mode in one fell swoop. Pretty darn cool.
Mystique’s over 12 weeks along now, and while I know anything can happen, we’re pretty confident about the way things are going. We’ve had two ultrasounds already (see the links on the right) and so far the kids are doing just fine. In fact, they’re in the best possible shape for twins — they each have their own something-or-other. I forget exactly what that is, but I know it’s the best. Now is not the time for your kids to share… as soon as they pop out, though, we’ll teach them how to share. Especially how to share mommy when they’re hungry.
As you’d expect, we’re pretty jazzed about the whole thing. The initial shock of a) being pregnant and b) having twins is starting to wear off and we’re settling in nicely. We’ve got a whole list of To Do’s and we’re trying to knock those out as soon as we can so we’re all set for the family.
Anyhow, everything’s going great so far… our next appointment is yet another ultrasound in another two weeks, and we have a follow-up appointment with the doctor a few days after that. We’ll be posting things in between then and now, of course, so check back often. If you have any questions, drop as an email!
