Our Kids

My friend Molly put on a shower yesterday for me and the girls. My mom was able to come up from Texas which was great and the shower was fantastic. Molly did such a great job there were plenty of people there and we were showered with wonderful gifts. If I thought we were ready before now I know we are, we got all the little odds and ends that we needed like cremes, soaps and tons of diapers. It was great!

This week my mom is here helping us to get ready. She is washing all the cute clothes, sheets, blankets and what nots that we need. As far as I am concerned I am starting to have more braxton hicks contractions so I know we are headed in the right direction. Seems like things are happening so quickly, I am equally excited and nervous all at the same time:) I will keep you posted on the doctor’s appts this week.

So here is the ultrasound update. Lela seems to be growing faster than Piper, which can be normal with twins. Rarely are they delivered exactly the same size:) Piper needs to pick up the pace a little so that the doctors feel better about it all. It is a blessing and a curse that we get to see them so often. With such constant monitoring you have to wonder if we know too much:) But all in all as long as Piper starts to eat more we should be in good shape to make it to January. I am starting to take it much easier so that I can help that along. I suspect I will be working part time here any day. We go back to Billings on Dec 20th to make sure Piper has picked up the growth rate, if not my two doctors will pow-wow and see where we go from there.
