Our Kids

The girls are becoming more like real little people every day.  They eat at the table with big forks and spoons feeding themselves, they sleep in big girl beds, they pick out their own clothes, brush their own teeth complete with rinse and spit at the ends.  They are both potty trained and Lela doesn’t wear diapers at night or during her naps.  Piper doesn’t wear a diaper during a nap but does at night, she will still use it early in the morning before you get in there but during the day she is dry as a bone:)  She has a lot more bladder control than when Lela was training but Lela has been trained for more than 8 months so that is to be expected.  At night they still let us cuddle them in our laps as we sing and read and while you are looking down into their big eyes they are still our little babies even though they are mostly arms and legs at this point.  I guess that is one of the joys of parenting, looking down (or up) at your child and seeing how far they have come.
