I do it myself

Well we are there, at the intersection of I will do it myself but I am not yet capable. I suppose we were bound to get here sometime but my table top crawling, jumping, bounding, flipping baby is going to be two in just a short couple months. Time flies.

Landis wants to do it all herself, from picking out her clothes to putting them on, taking bubble baths, brushing her teeth and more. She is very stubborn, she must get that from her dad, wink wink:)

Now she can’t say do it myself yet but you certainly get the message!

My girls got BLING

The girls personalities are really blossoming and they are each so different (including Landis). Piper loves to be “beautiful” and compliments me on my hair, clothes etc all the time. She also loves to get compliments and when you say oh Piper I like that skirt, she always says thank you. Piper is more sporty spice but still likes a little bling, likes to wear skirts and is all about things that are beautiful. She wants bows and such in her hair but they normally don’t make it past the 1 hour mark. She is growing her hair out though as long as she stops chewing on it (disgusting).

Lela is the quiet diva. She doesn’t need to be told she is beautiful she just knows it. I think if you actually told her she was beautiful she would say thank you but I already knew that:) She wears bows in her hair daily and always wants a dress and some bling.

Landis is a real corker when it comes to clothes, I can’t figure it out. She is sooo picky and will go through several outfits. If she doesn’t like what you put on her she will undress down to her naked buns and demand another outfit. I am not sure what her goal is but today it was to dress like Lela, so she was sporting her 4T shirt and pink pants which is what Lela had on. Argh….I thought I would NEVER get them all dressed this morning, lol!

I think it is interesting because we don’t watch any Hannah Montana or other girly shows. We do read books that have some princesses in them but not many. We don’t shop at Disney stores, don’t watch Disney movies and are otherwise not too girly (I mean look at their mother, ha). But they are developing their own style and it is so freakin’ cute (except Landis, that is so freakin’ frustrating, lol).

I think to solve my Landis dilemma I need to move her clothes down to a lower rack so that she can pick them out herself, that is what we did for the girls but that just means I have to move their clothes up. Hey, maybe we just need a bigger closet:)

Computer trouble

Sorry for the absence, I have been feuding with my computer. Jason has me fire wired in to another hard drive (or some other nonsense) so I am up and running. I promise to post more pics later today when I have a second to myself.
