I can’t believe it has been so long since I posted. It is not like 100 things have not happened that are worth posting but of course I won’t remember 99 of them now, ha!

The girls have been very busy passing around a cold. Least of which landed Lela with a double ear infection and one of her ear drums burst. It was quite awful. We had been calling/going in to the doctor with an on again off again low grade fever but no diagnosis. We even had to do a urine sample which is fun for a 4 almost 5 year old but all was clear. We went in on Friday and all was clear, went in on Monday due to ear pain and whamoo double infection. Late that night, well really early the next morning her ear drum burst all over my pillow. Thankfully that ended her agony. Now we seem to be on the mend but that girl does not like to take medicine. She is so sweet but gets so spooked about things, I feel just awful but either I convince her to take it or I just shoot it down her throat, either way it doesn’t go over well.

I was just complaining how we have gone almost 5 years without antibiotics for the girls (once for Lela) and now she has been on them twice in a month. I do have her on probiotics as well so that makes me feel a little better but gah!

Landis’ nose starting running today so I figure we have picked up something else so we will see how that makes its rounds. Hopefully they will be creating tons of antibodies to fight off anything bigger and badder that is waiting for us this “winter.”

We will go to Costco tomorrow and load up on more fruits/veggies to boost our immune systems and keep washing our hands again, and again, and again:)
