First the funny thing. Piper wanted the batteries changed in her walking, barking dog with all the ear infection drama I forgot. So she asked again. Then she asked again. Finally she brought it over the next day and said, “Mom can you fix my dog today all you have to do is (here she turned him over) put some batteries in his vagina.” HA HA HA!
The other funny thing is that Piper has picked up several of my sayings and added them to her repertoire here are a few:
What’s up with that?
Smack it up in a ding dong (this one cracks me up)
Are you for real?
The thing that is not so funny is that Landis has the double ear infection virus that Lela has. I knew something was up on Wednesday night and decided to take her in on Thursday since the weekend was coming. I am glad I did because she has the same virus and apparently it is one that has a of blood and pus behind it and causes the ear drums to burst. So the ped said her ear drums may burst and there may be a lot of blood (ewww) but not to worry. I think we caught it early enough that she is going to be okay. She definitely has a higher pain tolerance than Lela but is doing great now that we have started her on meds (motrin and antibiotics). This is her first round of antibiotics but I know it is warranted.
Anyhoo, the fun never ends here at Haslup house. One day we will get a full night sleep again (I know I am just dreaming right).
