Our Kids

Well I have been getting quite a few spontaneous I love yous from Piper and Lela. Piper has always been an I love you kind of girl where Lela has not but I have been getting them from her more frequently lately.

The other night I was putting Landis down to sleep, this involves me laying right next to her while she puts herself to sleep. While we were laying there she rolled over half asleep touched my face and said I love you mama. It was one of those moments where you were like, did that just happen? I was so glad that I was there in her last moments before sleep and that she went to sleep feeling loved by her family. That was a moment:)
