Are these MY fingers?

Phoebe has learned to wave! She is so tickled with herself that she even waves to folks that are passing by in the store that catch her eye. Her wave is very cute but very robotic. She is also starting to scoot around. If she can rock and get herself going like when she is holding the side of the crib, she will just laugh and laugh.

She is finally busting out of her Woombie, she still likes to be in it to go to sleep but then she takes her arms out sometime during the night. You can see her sleeping with her arm above her head and she looks like a little angel.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving day. Jason and I both were so amazed at how good the girls were at dinner. They led the blessing which was such a treat and then they passed food, cut their food, ate and even had sparkling cider out of real wine glasses all without a hitch. It’s funny how you spend all this time teaching them proper manners etc and you think they are not getting it and then when you really want them to use them and you don’t say a word they show you that they really were listening the whole time. I am thankful for such wonderful children, not just because they are well mannered but because they are who they are.

The Big Move

Well this is it, we are moving to our new house on Sunday. Lots of emotions going over here but we are super excited. We have just a bit more packing to do and then the movers come on Sunday to do all the schlepping. It is going to be a big adjustment for us all but in the end it is the right thing to do for us. We are going to LOVE being so close to the girls school since we are there everyday multiple times. We are also going to be closer to Jason’s work which is a big bonus.

On the down side I think Piper has strep throat. We will be going to the doctor today to confirm or deny my suspicions. I swear I was dreaming all night about it and worrying about her and the rest of the kids. Exhausted is how I am entering in to today but I see coffee on my horizon so it won’t be so bad:) The house at the end of the rainbow is a big motivator!
