Well the first day of first grade is tomorrow for my first born twin girls:) It might only be the first day for one of my twin girls. Piper has a virus, ugh, it seems to be one that is affecting her eyes, ears and throat! It is so sucky! She might miss her first day of first grade:( I am not sure how Lela is going to like that either. We shall see.

Other than that we have been having an awesome time with my SIL and niece. We were so fortunate that they could come to visit, we are really going to miss them when they go home on Tuesday but I suppose you can’t keep something that good to yourself all the time:)

I will be back with more details on 1st grade and what it looks like at the girls school in a future post once we pass this hurdle. Onward Haslup clan!

I’m still alive down here:)

Hello! I am finally dusting off my keyboard to post. I don’t know where the time went. Here is what has been going on, Jason turned 40, I turned 41, my sis in law and niece surprised us with a visit, my brother surprised us with a visit, I started seriously training for my marathon, we got the girls information for first grade, we had several playdates, the girls best friends from school are moving away, we made some dolls, went to the zoo, had our teacher meet and greet, mucked the barn out at school, passed our swim lessons, attended two birthday parties and I am sure there is more. We have had a great summer and it is time for school on Monday. Oh and my folks bought a house a mile away from us for winter visits!! So much exciting stuff!

All the girls are doing awesome and so am I. We can’t wait for the excitement of school to start. This has been our best summer yet in Arizona and a lot of that has to do with our new house and location. It has been blissful. I can still sit outside with my coffee in the mornings with the shade and breeze and the girls are able to play outside in the evenings. Their Uncle sent them a Great White Shark inflatable water slide and they are LOVING that. Things are just supercalafragalisticexpialadoshus.
